Video Downloader 8K is built privacy-first. The short version: your downloads happen entirely on your own computer, and we don't track you.

Your downloads stay on your machine

When you download a video, the App fetches it directly from the source site to your computer. The video never passes through, and is never stored on, our servers. We don't see your links, your files, or your download history.

What the website collects

Like virtually all websites, our host (Hostinger) keeps standard server access logs — your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics that follow you across the web.

Cookies

This website does not set tracking cookies.

Update checks

The desktop App periodically checks for a newer version by requesting a small file from this website. That request includes your IP address (as any web request does) but carries no personal information and no data about what you download.

Children

The App and website are not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
